The main aim of the project is to investigate if there is significant difference in the mean sales performance of the staff that attended the sales training for different groups. The project will test the hypothesis that there is no significant mean difference in the sales performance among the tree groups of training
Data collection was conducted after the trainees were all trained in three different groups and the amount of sales that they had made after a period on one month was recorded. In testing this hypothesis, the one way analysis of variance or kruskal Wallis has been done since these are the best test to test if there is significant mean difference among the three groups of trainings. The Kruskal Wallis test is suitable method of analysis when the data does not obey assumption of normal distribution for the responses. The Kruskal Wallis test is a non parametric test that is used when the assumption of the distribution is not satisfied (American Psychiatric Association, 1980).
To determine if the assumption of normality is full filled before testing the hypothesis, we obtain a boxplot.
From the box plot, it can be observed that the sales data for the group 2 and group 3 trainees is not normally distributed. The box plot indicates that the sales performance of the group 2 and group 3 are skewed to the right but the sales data for group 1 is normally distributed. Since the data is not normally distributed we use kruskal Wallis test.
From the analysis of the results, it can be observed that the p-value= 0.000 which was less than 0.05 significant level. This means that there was sufficient evidence to conclude that the mean sales score is different across all the three training groups. The results from this study can be supported by the research conducted on the effect of training method on the performance off the employees. The study was also supported by the research conducted on the influence of training of the employees on their delivery to the company.
From the results, it can be concluded that different training of the sales persons is able to give different sales performance. The results also conclude that the sales data is not normally distributed hence the best analysis to test the difference in means sales performance was the kuskal Wallis tests.
This task is interested in determining if there is significant relationship between the final exam results and the quizzes given before the exam. The purpose of the task is to investigate if the quizzes performance can be used to predict the performance of the final exam.
The data was obtained over a three four months semester. The data of the students’ performance in the final exam was recorded after the student did the final exam, the result of the quiz 1 to quiz 8. The total quiz results was also computed to determine the total quiz performance. To investigate the objective of the study, the regression analysis can be used to test if there exist statistically significant relationship between the exam performance and the quiz performance. In analyzing the relationship between the dependent variable and independent variables the best method for this is the regression analysis (Jay and Kenneth, 2010)

From the analysis of model summary, it can be observed that the coefficient of determination was equal to 0.279 which implies that the regression model between the final exam score and the quiz score could account for 27.9% of the total variability on the final exam due to the quiz results.

From the results of the analysis of regression, it can be observed that the coefficient of determination was equal to 0.279 which implies that the regression model account for 27.9% of the total variability. The ANOVA for regression indicate the p-value = 0.017 which was less than 0.05 significant level. This means that there was significant relationship between the exam total and the quizzes. The results of this study can be supported by the results of the research conducted in UK which indicated that the performance of continuous assessment test can be able to predict the score of the final exam (Black, Ken, 2011). In the Uk study, the administrator divided the groups into three ( group 1 control, group two he meet them in person during the study and group three he interacted with them on social media).
From the analysis, it can be concluded that there is significant relationship between the final exam total and the quizzes. The results also conclude that the final exam quiz can be predicted using the quizzes scores.
